Revamping Electronic Health Records for Expressive Arts Therapy

I spearheaded the redesign of an electronic health record for an expressive arts therapist who uses movement, colors, and emotions to help clients express themselves. Our goal was to create a digital platform that embodied the spirit of this therapy while being functional and efficient. We created MoodMate, which captures movement, color, and detailed client emotions. We added a digital drawing section and interactive tools for therapists to track clients' emotions and progress more smoothly.

Seeing how our changes positively impacted the health record system was inspiring and showed the potential of creativity and innovation in advancing healthcare technology.

Our project demonstrated how considerate design can significantly improve care delivery through expressive arts therapy.
